Any tips as its putting me off flying.

The air in the cabin just causes so much pain in sinuses. Its dry, sharp and then gets painful.

Any tips or tried and tested methods please.

Consult a pharmacist. If they can't help, you may need a Dr appointment and prescription. I don't know if it will help, but I have trouble clearing my ears on the descent, but since I've been using earplanes plugs, I've been fine. They help relieve the pressure via a tiny valve with lots of tiny ear pops.

I line my nose with vasaline and reapply during the flight. I use the little green vasaline pots as they don't smell chemically. Also remember to drink lots of water.

you can get saline solution nosespray in the pharmacy. or buy rhinodoron from weleda. plus those earplugs work really well.
