Anyone trying to book flights with airmiles for school hols next year?

because for several days I have been waiting for half term in May to go on sale for a flight to zone 2. Not really fussed where as I have heard getting availability is difficult. I phoned them and confirmed that you are able to book 50 weeks ahead and sure enough each day I checked availability moved on one day. However there now seems to be no availability to any destination any day after 24 May! I can't believe they sold out that quickly

I have given up on Airmiles as, since they revamped the rules and started allowing you to pay the taxes with airmiles, they seem to have no availability at all in school holidays. Not for any of the routes I have been looking for, anyway.

well I wish I hadn't transferred all my Tesco clublcard vouchers in to airmiles after saving them up for the past year! no idea what we will do now

I know, lisa, I have done exactly the same and now am not sure when I will be able to use these airmiles.

We are thinking of perhaps using them for a child free weekend away sometime.

It might be an idea to ring the airmiles customer service number to see if they can be of help. They can often do more than you can through the website.
