advice needed - flights to Abu Dhabi from scotland

planning to visit Abu Dhabi in the spring - looking for advice on cheap flights. live in Aberdeen, so happy to fly from there or drive to Glasgow or Edinburgh. the cheaper the better, although would rather not have a terribly long, drawn-out journey. any advice gratefully received. many thanks!

We flew there last year with 2 small boys...Qatar Air via Doha. Was significantly cheaper than direct. And they were brilliant. However, we flew from London, and I don't know whether you would fancy a Scotland - London flight and have 2 changes effectively.

Try putting options inn to flightcheckers etc.

You can do Glasgow to Dubai with Emirates and then I imagine it'd be easy=ish to get from there to Abu Dhabi?

You can drive from Dubai to AD in about an hour and a half...a friend picked us up - not sure how expensive a taxi would be.
