Newly Single Mum wants to take three kids away but where?

I am a newly single mum, got three children ages 7, 5 and 3. We have just cancelled our holiday due to the split. It was a holiday to South of France but driving and not something I think I could handle alone.

Do you have any top tips of where we could go? Is there anywhere nice in the UK that is not ridiculously expensive.

I did this with my sisters the year I split from ex, we went to cornwall, perranporth, we stayed at a hotel practically on the beach, it was lovely, our children still talk about it two years after the fact!

My dad used to take us camping in Barmouth, Wales that was always amazing.

Butlins Bognor Regis. Took our four kids there it was bril!

i would suggest self catering on the east coast. Not expensive and something for everyone. You don't have to go along with the campsite's hideous itinerary

Lyme Regis? You could go fossil hunting on the beach.
