Taking travel cot on budget airline or use one of those equipment hire firms

We are flying to France but the place we are staying doesn't have a cot.

We have a travel cot but we are flying Easyjet and the thought of lugging it there brings me to tears.

Has anyone used one of those baby equipment hire companies? Are they ludicrously expensive.

DD is 18 months so only really needs a cot and maybe a highchair (although obviously I wouldn't take that on a plane!)

What about hiring the twin arc or hollidaz here?

Ooh, they don't deliver to near me but I might look at buying one of those and then flogging it on ebay!
