Florida

DH has booked us a holiday in Florida for the beginning of July. DS1 is 7 and DS2 is three and half but has Down's Syndrome. We have a Quinny that we usually take on holiday and an old Jane which is obviously a lot bigger.

Which would be the best to take? The Quinny is easier as it's smaller but the Jane would be more comfortable for DS2 and has more room for stuff under/on it.

We are booked with Virgin if that matters.

TIA,

PTA

Hi, I'm not familiar with the Jane pram but recently bought a quinny (to add to our huge collection of prams/buggies) so we could take it on board the plane as apparently its the only one that the airlines actually allow you to take on board so you have it as soon as you land. We got so fed up having to carry a wriggling toddler/baby and all the bags (and the bloody trunki that DD had promised to pull but didn't) all the way to baggage re-claim.

So far we've only taken it on a plane once with no problem but are flying in a few weeks so hopefully will be allowed to take it then. We are going to Florida in Oct and are planning on taking it then too as opposed to a bigger pram/buggy that we would have to check in.

If your DS will be spending a lot of time in the pram/buggy then you may prefer the Jane and I understand your point about no where to put stuff on the quinny. I did however see someone the other day with a special bag that hung on it so was going to mooch for one of those on ebay.

Also, if you are planning on doing all the parks, they do rent out strollers for the day but not sure how comfortable/practical they are for your DS.

Good luck
