I have left it too late to book for summer holiday as I was not sure whether I will have a job in August. The only week we can go is the last week of july.

We have a 2 year old and a 9 year old and we have not been on proper holiday for a year or so now.

I was thinking of a holiday in devon, cornwall.Dont want to fly abroad.

Would like some activities for the children.I was thinking of 4 nights in a static caravan and possibly three nights somewhere else as We have not been on caravan before so not sure if we will all like it.Is this possible?

Any other suggestions welcome.Am desperate now...Thanks in advance

Drive to France... Do you have Tesco vouchers to pay for a channel crossing on the tunnel? Then book cheap Campanile hotel or campsites with static caravans.

This worked for us in the past.

We have stayed in static caravans and have always had a great time, it can sometimes work out quite expensive for a short break, depending on your budget might work out better to stay for a week in the caravan, we have always found parkdean holidays to be good and reasonably priced. Our favourite park is Trecco Bay in Wales, it's a good mix with plenty to do on site, but also in a lovely area with some nice walks nearby.
