I expect you have already seen the reviews on Tripadvisor? I haven't stayed at Branville but we have been to three other P&V villages (Belle Dune, Cap Esterel and La Baule). The kids clubs were chargeable by the hour or session. The restaurants on site were pretty expensive as I recall but there were plenty of other food options nearby. Hope that helps a little.

We've stayed at a Pierre et Vacance resort in Normandy and found it to be very basic and quite expensive for what you got (not much...). I wouldn't go back.

We stayed at a different one last year. Pool in our area was fenced off with a code on the gate and the main waterpark had a controlled reception, children had to be accompanied and they checked our residents' card each time. Kids clubs seemed fun, we queued up on the Sunday morning (the site did a welcome session) to book them in for certain number of sessions (we had up to 5 included per child) but you could change them during the week. Also booked other organised activties there (like boules). The kids did a show at the end of the week (although our dc opted out) so some time in the club was spent rehearsing. We ate in the onsite restaurant one evening and prices for this, and the shop, were comparable to the local area. The accommodation was fine but suggest booking a size up than you are (we had a 6 bed for 2 adults and 2 kids). Would happily go back there or to another P&V complex .

We too stayed at P&V Belle Dune last summer and found the standard to be ok (at best) and lots of extra charges for anything from towels, cleaning up liquid to childcare, which means it ends up quite expensive all in.

How odd bbb - we stayed at same, with 5 sessions kids club and washing up stuff etc included. Booked direct with P-V. Extra would have been to make up beds but somehow we managed!

thanks all
after reading mopsyflopsy i was going to say that's a no then but now I'm sitting on the fence a bit more.

where I'm looking childcare seems to be included but pretty hefty cleaning fee

I'll keep looking for the time being....
