Need to brush up on rusty French for holiday next week! Good tapes?

OK, so we've rashly booked ourselves a holiday in France next week.

I have E grade French O'level and DH got a 'U' (didn't know that before now!) so we are pretty poor.

Anyone able to recommend tapes/cds to improve our very poor speaking? Also tapes for 3 year olds? As a bit of fun obviously - we're not looking for him to help us out although it may come to that!

I've got a phrase book - I think I need to hear it spoken. I have visions of the tape playing at night and subconsciously taking it in.

DH has offered to read to me from the phrase book but coming from an 'unclassified' I think that would be worse than doing nothing.

Another vote for Michel Thomas CD or tapes, worth every penny.
