Advice for accommodation and things to do with toddler in south of france

hello

We're off to the South of France in August for a wedding near Avignon.

When we arrive i need to find accommodation for 2 nights between Marseille and Avignon, and then after the wedding we've got 5 days in which we could travel further east towards Cassis and beyond.

Any suggestions as to where to stay that is toddler friendly (ie. we're not sitting quietly on the end of a hotel bed after he goes to sleep!). And any places to take him?

We'd love a toddler friendly sandy beach aswell!

Thanks for your help!

Hi PinkPetal

I would take a look at campsites. Many of the big operators such as Eurocamp allow overnight stops. Campsites are absolutely the best with children.

Problem is that these are now selling out fast.

As an alternative how about Logis? www.logisdefrance.com. Lots of lovely family hotels. We have stayed in some great ones which have been happy for children to fall asleep in a buggy while we had dinner.

I cant help about beaches I'm afraid.
