Something Like Lykia World

Hoping you might be able to help. My DH and DC aged 8,5 and 2 went to Lykia World last summer and really enjoyed it. We would like to do something similar this year i.e nice food, accommodation, on the beach, kids activities, but would prefer if the hotel/apartments were situated within walking distance of a village or town so that we could eat out occasionally. Has anyone been anywhere like this that they would recommend?

try the holiday vilages (by first choice). We went to the red sea one in Egypt for Christmas and it was lovely.

Been to the Red Sea and Turkey ones, thoroughly enjoyed both but Red Sea was definitely better.

Have a look at the Royal Wings in Antalya, fab hotel, not much to do round about it though.

Avoid the HV in the Costa Del Sol, not a patch on the other two or Lykia World.

Interesting that you mention the holiday village in Red Sea as I've been looking at that this morning. Did you have any problems with stomach upsets here as my sisters family recently went to Sharm and were all quite ill?

No, none at all. The hotel was spotlessly clean (even the public loos) and managers constantly went round checking temperatures of food. We used hand sanitizer before all meals and we were all fine - even our 2.4 DD.

Try Almyra in Cyprus www.totstoo.com/hotel_almyra which is on a stretch with lots of restaurants etc, although to tell the truth when we stayed there we mostly ate at the hotel's taverna-style restaurant right on the beach so the kids could muck around while waiting for the food. It's got all the kids clubs etc like Lykia World but looks tres chic and stylish
