We will be staying about an hour away, in Loches. Children aged 12, 11 and 2. Is it worth a visit? Any tips on what to do, if we go.

We went a couple of years ago, it was great, my Dc's 8 and 4 at the time loved it.

As for tips, it's all great but the best thing is the firework and light show just before the park closes. I've never seen anything like it.

Another yes here - DH took DS1 (then 7) and they both loved it & didn't stop talking about it for days.

We took dsc's when they were 10 and 12 a couple of years ago. We had a nice day but the kids weren't massively impressed with the rides (they go to theme parks fairly regularly.) The newer rides all had very long queues (which you might expect at a theme park anyway). I liked the robot dancing and the bikes on the lake. The upside down 'world' had massive comedy value.

I love Futuroscope, but would worry that your older two might be too old and your youngest too young to enjoy it. Better IMO for the 4-9 age group, but I haven't been for a few years so may be misremembering.

We went a couple of years ago dc were 14 & 10. It was at the end of July. So not overcrowded in the day. Dc enjoyed it but wouldn't want to go again. The evening light. water & firework display was great. We used Tesco deals as payment.
