Hi everyone,

Im planning on taking my kids (2 and 4) to the new LegoLand Discovery centre in Manchester www.legolanddiscoverycentre.co.uk/manchester/en/index.htm at the weekend and just wondered if anyone had been? It looks fantastic and my oldest is really excited.

Thanks,

Sally

Hi Sally,
My name is Claire and I work for the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.
The centre has been open for over two months now and has been very busy since!
From feedback we have had the highlight among the adult visitors seems to be the MINILAND as they are all amazed by the level of detail, whereas the favourite attraction for the children has been the laser ride.
Personally, I love the 4D cinema as the special effects make you feel like you are actually in the film!
If you have any questions on the centre, please just let me know!
Thanks,
Claire

What sort of age range would you say it's most appropriate for? Is there anything for older children say 8 - 12 years?

I noticed that you can use clubcard points for tickets, so am tempted but my eldest is 11 (loves lego) and youngest is 7. Not sure if it'll be a bit too young.
