Things to do in and around Dublin?

Hello there, Anyone know any interesting / must see places to visit around the Dublin area. We are there for a week in August and there will be a 8yr old and 18 month old with us, any suggestions...?

i was in Dublin with my boys when they were 4 and 6. St stephens green is nice to walk around. Alot of the pubs in Temple bar were welcoming to kids and had great seafood. we also went to an american style bar which i have forgotten the name of. We had a train ride to Howth which is a seaside town.We went to the national wax museum. we used the lonely planet city guide which has a section for what to do with kids
