Advice on Sharm el Sheik Hotels

Hello lovely helpful people,

I have just typed a long list of questions about Sharm and have stupidly posted it in Long Haul, instead of here.

If you have anything helpful to contribute would you please be kind enough to hop over there (short internal flight only, takes no time at all) and have a look for me, so I don't have to type it all again.

Thank you all!

TiggyR have come across from longhaul .... did short reply there.

We booked direct with the Hyatt, loved it went twice, has the Cocktail bar for you, great food, best breakfasts ever. It also has an amazing Thai restaurant, reputed to be the best in Sharm.

Sand on beach, great for snorkelling, we didn't dive. It has it's own reef which not all hotels have, so you can just walk out on the pontoon and snorkel which is wonderful.

The staff are all lovely.

There are several pools, on different levels, and one is even adults only so you can avoid any small children!

Tennis courts, spa where I had a lovely stone massage.

I liked it as it in a cove so you can't see the hotels on eitherside, so you don't feel that you are on a strip of hotel after hotel. We went somewhere else nearer to the centre to go on a glass-bottom boat trip, and you didn't know where one hotel ended and the other began.

Just remembered, incase you are still thinking of Sharm, that we got the hotel to collect us from the airport, it's only about 15 mins away and it wasn't very expensive.
