Key Camp, Euro Camp or other?!

We are hoping to go to Brittany in August with a our children (3 & 5yrs).

Having trawled through lots of websites I'm no nearer to finding anywhere to book.

Lots of people have mentioned Key/Euro Camp, which sounds good but I'm a bit put off by the accommodation. It looks pretty small and basic for £££.

My ideal would be an apartment in a hotel, where we get a nice room/rooms but have our own cooking facilities too (so we don't have to eat out at every meal) but someone comes to tidy the room each day (I want a holiday too!). Kids clubs etc are also pretty important!

I thought about Mark Warner, but they don't have anywhere in Brittany.

Any ideas would be great!

We have been going with Keycamp to France on and off since my girls were 1 and 4, and they are now 17 and 20 - this year we are going with our new granddaughter too! We love it, the accommodation is great for us, especially considering you are only really in it to sleep, and to prepare food if you are so inclined. The great thing about this type of holiday is that in two steps you can move from making your early morning cuppa to sitting in the sunshine drinking it, still in your dressing gown!Plus there are few hotels (at least in our price range) that can give anything like the number of facilities, especially pools. My girls have been given the option of hotel holidays but have always chosen this option instead.By the way I have researched this heavily, and Keycamp is WAY cheaper than the others.

I have just been looking at private caravan rentals in France. Just google 'Private caravan rentals in France'. They are still on the big parks but half the price!

Thanks for this. We've booked keycamp, seems quite pricey but think it'll be worth it!

This is our first 'activity' holiday so we'll see how it goes! DS1 takes the brochure to bed with him he's so excited.

We opted for one of the medium size parks, and one that seems to be geared more towards younger children, rather than teenagers.

Thanks again for the help!
