has anyone ever stayed at Roda, Corfu?

Dh and I have just been reading the travel guide and it says it's like a motorway service station, with swamps! what have we done we fly out 3 weeks this Monday gone. Sure lovely but mosquitoes

I've been to Corfu 3 times but haven't stayed in Roda, Sidari - just down the road is beautiful with the 'Canal d'amour' to swim through and find eternal happiness . I love Corfu and if Roda isn't to your taste you can always visit other places on the island and just have it as your base. (Don't flush your bog roll either!)
