has anyone driven from London to Prague?

Any tips if so? We're planning on driving from our house which is just north of London to Prague in August with our 10.5 month old (as he will be then). We've decided it can be done in 2 long days, but are not sure where is the best place to stop off on the way. Has anyone done it? Any ideas where is good if so? thanks

We did it years ago (before DCs). We stopped at Passau in Germany on the way as we've got friends there. It's very close to the border and it was an easy drive from there to Prague. We came back via Berlin so did an interesting round trip.
If you stop somewhere between Frankfurt and Nurnberg then I'm sure it would be possible in 2 days with a 10 mth old.

We drove from N. of London to Munich when our twins were 4 mths and did that trip in a (long) day even allowing for frequent stops.

thanks badpups - good to hear others have done the trip and survived which crossing did you use to get across the channel? we were thinking of using Norfolkline to go to Dunkirk then down from there.
