We have five free first class train tickets which we need to use. On the basis that dp would want to go somewhere peaceful, comfortable and with good food, and that the dc's are 12, 10 and 8, what would you do?
I thought of going somewhere near London and travelling into London for a show, but as we are in Scotland, it makes the initial journey quite long (it's only 4.5 hours to London but if you then go anywhere else you've either got to connect in London, or take a x-country route which could take 6.5 hours. However, maybe this is worth it).
What does anyone think? We'd need to have a "purpose" I think, on the Sautrday.
