it's just for one night for me & dh. looking for somewhere pretty central in july for my birthday (parents are having the dc's so we can have a weekend away, yay!) tia!

Depends on what kind of break you're after. If it's a bit indulgent, try the Doubletree here. It's quite swish and pricey, but pretty good and has swmming pool spa. Also VERY central.

we're just after somewhere nice & cosy to sleep, as most of the time we'll be out and about. will check out the link though, it is my 40th after all
