Morning all,
Anyone been to this hotel?
We have just booked a week AI at the end of June, reviews look good, wondered if any of you have been with small children (DD will be almost 1 by then)

Hi we went 4 years ago when my ds was 2 and I was pg with my dd. We only went half board but we really enjoyed it. The views are fantastic I am assuming its the one in puerto rico/ amadores because if I remember im sure there are two with similar names. If it is the amadores one it is fab you will have a lovely time.

Thanks Laughalot, it is the Amadores one.
Now for the question, how on earth do I entertain my 1 year old on the flight! :-)

Ok im a expert at his as im a travel agent . Wrap loads of little pressies up so that she has to unwrap them make sure you tape them well lol. Sticker book you cant go wrong with that one and maybe a portable dvd player if she likes watching stuff.

Be carefull in the room its easy for them to open the door there isnt a lock on the inside your dd may be a little young but my ds was 2 and he opened it and ran off my dh legged it out with his boxer shorts on to get him.

The trip to thebeach is lovely having a young child we were on the beach for 8 30 in a morning it was lovely and quiet. Hotel is so lovely and the views you cannot beat it. A nice trip is to puerto mogan on the ferry about 30 min and its a old fishing village very pretty just dont go on market day.

Laughalot, you are quite possibly an angel - thank you so much for the fab tips, I will follow all of them
Much appreciated. Love the pressie idea and I have a portable dvd player so that's a fab idea

Daydream that has always been the bit I dreaded most the flight with a little one. Its so easy to wrap up bits of stuff like 10p stuff from hawkins bizare they are none the wiser and it so keeps them entertained. Another little tip let her have a sweetie or a lolipop when you take off and land just to keep her swallowing so her ears dont pop there cant be anything worse than that pain.

Have a fab hol xxx

Hi,
We're going to this hotel in a couple of weeks. Our little boy will be 5 months old. I've read on other websites that the rooms have microwaves in them/you can request to have one. Is this true? If so, we'll just take our microwave sterilising bags, and not the big electric steriliser!
Also, do you know if the bottled water they have in the hotel is suitable for boiling and using for making up his milk?
Thank you!!
Lisa x
