Gullivers Land with a 90cm toddler

Ds2 is about 89cm tall. We're thinking about going to Gulliver's Land, Milton Keynes, and it says under 90cm are free, but they have to be 90cm to go on loads of the rides.

So, shall I put his thick-soled shoes on, and pay, or not?

I'm sure it would be GROSSLY UNETHICAL to put him in Plimsolls before you get in, and thick soled shoes once you are in.

I wonder how they tell who paid or not - do they do handstamps do you think?

No what they do is measure them on each ride if needed with a thingy on a stick to see if they are big enough.

There are a few rides that are only for over 120cm and quite a few for over 90cm.

There are some for under 90cm but not masses, mostly little kiddie ones.

If you are going with older sib I would just see what happens. Prob with his shoes on he will be over 90cm anyway and thus pay and ride.

I have been with smaller DC tho (eg certainly went when DS2 (3rd child) was 18mo or so) and they have had a fun time too.

Yes, we're going with ds1 (5) and dd (8, and just 120cm in her trainers, which means she is allowed on stuff without me at last, hooray).

Ds2 is only 2.4 so I should think there are some rides I won't let him on even if he is allowed. But I think he will want to go on anything that ds1 does ...

{grin} @ DD going on stuff without you.

DD's (also 8yo) face when she realised she could go on the Magic Carpet on her own and wouldn't have to go on the Drop Down one which she hates (different Gullivers but same idea) was a picture
