Hey Cuupycake check out the wizzy new Brittany Tourism website. (My brother is the director of tourism so have to declare a small interest here!) It's full of of ideas!

Hi we went eurocamp to carnac le grande metarie site (keycamp, canvas etc all go there as well), we didn;t camp we had a big mobile home. Site has fantastic swimming pool, is 10 mins drive from nice beaches. the holiday companies have thier own kids club (have to be school age though) and kids couriers will babysit in evening. but france was very expensive (been to a different part of france this year and was the same)

We are very fond of Dinard but I am afraid I don't know about campsites as we always rent a gite

I would second Twinterror on Carnac. www.LesMenhirs.com is within walking distance of the town. It is also offered by the Eurocamp and possibly others. In many ways it is an old fashioned seaside resort with a great ice cream parlour - more flavours than you can imagine and plenty of places to eat crepes. The beach was good also (if you like that sort of thing). The standing stones are strange and mysterious. If you check out the michelin green guide there is a reference to some stones away from the main group which are in woods and can be touched and climbed on - absolutely magical.

I have also been to that Campsite in Carnac. I love it there. We went out of season (beg of June) and it was fab, not too busy, lots to do including pony rides around the camp. We went with Canvas - they were very good. I would recommend it.

chateau des ormes is great for a family, loads for kids. You can book direct or try matthews holidays - much cheaper than eurocamp etc.
