car parking/meet and greet manchester airport

Hi. I am trying to be organised and get all the minor details sorted for hols. Have previously parked at friends and got lift in when flying from Manchester but they have very thoughlessly moved to Oxford - how incosiderate Now need to think about airport parking. Dont really want to drive out to a parking place and wait to be shuttled in - adding another 30mins or so to day. Anybody recommend good but cheap onsite parking or good meet/greet. thanks K

Meteor / purple parking do meet and greet, definately worth it. Join purple parking for a 'members discount' before you look.

I second purple parking.

Very reasonable and a good service. think you might get a discount if you are in the RAC.

For the last 5 years have used Securapark and have had a brilliant service and 5 mins drive away. They also do a service where they meet you at the airport and take your car back to parking and pick you up at airport in your car. Not used this, but thinking of this year as earlier flight and all the saved minutes count!

We used these people recently and they were great. We have a brood of young children and couldn't face setting up car seats on courtesy buses etc. They are based about a 2 minute walk from the main departures building.

They also very kindly didn't charge us for a second week of parking when we were stuck overseas due to the volcanic ash disruption!

Well worth every penny.

Thanks so much - A couple of friends at school today also mentioned purple parking so I think I will get a quote from them - if the meet and greet doesnt cost much more than park and shuttle I might go for that -I have decided to start making life easier for myself. Thanks again
