Which one would you choose?

I ahve the opportunity of 3 nights away with DH should i choose Cowley manor or Barnsley house hotel. Very open to all comments. With love x

Cowley is a lovely setting, bit odd/modernist with the decor and when we went for lunch was literally full of pregnant couples doing their 'last' weekend away thing

Purely based on the websites I would go with Barnsley House - it looks much more welcoming and individual. Cowley Manor looks a bit like 'country house aimed at Londoners' and I hate their room names - 'good, better, excellent' etc!!

littledawley - in reality you are SPOT on with that assessment! Owned by Lord Sainsbury's daughter IIRC

Thank You it was just that when i phoned to speak to them both Cowley were so much better. I am not sure why but i just thought they offered a better deal. However Barnsley does look amazing and i do not want to go for the bargain (which includes a massage each day) and miss the experince at Barnsley house. I don't want to make a decision....!
