Chicago advice????

Hi Mumsnetters!

Any advice for where to stay in Chicago? Staying for a week in late August (hubbie and me, without our DD). Never been before, so would love some advice from frequent visitors!

Hi, Stay close to Michigan Avenue (Magnificent mile) The Best Western on South Michigan Avenue is a prime location. Os The Holiday Inn Mart Plaza is good and in between the two areas of down town. Or there's a Soffitel on E.Chestnut which is nice. Or a cheaper option in a prime location is The Treamont on E.Chestnut. Its a bit old and scruffy but clean enough and as I say its in a prime location for shops and eating.

I'd recommend staying at the Park Hyatt on Michigan Avenue.
