Where can I go that is warm and sunny but not too hot?

I'm not a big fan of hot weather. I am as pale as a ghost, freckly, and retire to the shade at the first glimpse of hot sunshine.

What I do like is weather warm enough to play around on beaches, go for walks in, and sit outside in. I guess like early summer here, but guaranteed!

Is there anywhere that would fit the bill? I don't really care when as we are not restricted by the school holidays but as DH is self-employed we are restricted, realistically, to short-haul as we can only be away for a week at most.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

South of france?

It does get really hot in the south of France, though doesn't it? Admittedly I have only been there in July and August in the past. I am happy with temps of early 20s, tbh.

What is it like there in September/October?

I am sounding particularly fussy, I know, but I just can't do blistering heat but we do all want a bit of sunshine...

OP - You don't say what time of year you would like to go away. Is it now? If so some good 'warm' options are:

Malta
Cyprus
Turkey
Southern Italy
Corsica
Mallorca
Southern Spain

Canary Islands

Most places are hot compared to the UK .

I have been to the south of france a couple of times and its never been too hot (maybe the odd day where it was a little to warm). I guess id depends what time of year you go. I would say the hottest months are July through to september. Spain is nice in Autum or spring but can get very hot in the middle of the summer.
