I had a great night in London last night to celebrate our 11th Wedding Aniversary.
It was the Belvedere Restaurant in Holland Park. (Marco Pierre White).Very pretty and superb food and service.
(I liked it much more than The Ivy and Mirrabelle, whose tables were squashed upto the next one and the staff were pompous.)
We did push the boat out at the Belvedere and had to let the Amex card take the strain, However the dishes didn't cost much more than I have paid in ordinary branded restaurants with awful service.
Any good recommendations for next year anyone?
