Thinking of booking La Manga for Summer holiday with DS (5yo) and DD (1 yo). Thinking of a villa and then booking childrens club for DS.
Anyone have any tips or views on it.
Do we need a hire car?
Is it Butlins abroad?
I shudder to book a resort as would much prefer a private villa somewhere, but I know that DS needs other kids for a 2 week holiday, as he'll get bored of just us. Please reassure/support me.
Thanks

We have an apartment in La Manga so spend every holiday there these days.

I really like it there, we are based on the strip right at the end so not near any of the resorts. Were you thinking of being on the strip or at the La Manga Club Golf Resort?

We didn't use a car over Easter for 2 weeks and just got a lift from friends to the supermarket etc but the bus service there is excellent as it's only 1.05 euros for each way and that can take you as far up the strip you want and the same price going back.

If you are booking the acutal club resort (what was owned by Hyatt) I don't have much experience of that i'm afraid but if you were based there and got a car there are plenty of places round there worth seeing.

Hope that helps a bit!
