Have booked flights to Florida for October (6-20th)this year and have been looking and looking for villas but struggling to find something half decent for those dates. I am maybe being too fussy we have never been before and we are not sure what areas are best we are hoping to get one that isn't overlooked, has pool heating and air con have been looking at Formosa Gardens which looks lovely but is expensive, we were hoping not too pay more than £1500 for the two weeks at the most.Have been looking at some in West Haven,Calabray Parc and Windsor Hills. I was hoping that someone may have some recommendations if possible.

Thanks in advance

We have a villa at Aviana Resort (about 10/15 mins from the parks) which wouldnt cost £1500 for 2 weeks in October. Am I allowed to put a weblink on here or will I be told off!

I would be interested in taking a look at your villa on the website. I have seen people put on links before but I wouldn't want you to get into trouble if you gave me some clues as to what it is called or something similar not the whole website then I could try and google it?? I have been looking at the holiday rentals uk website not sure if you have it on there? Thanks anyway for your help

Hi, I'd recommend www.loyaltyhomesusa. This is a company based in Florida which is owned and run by an english lady called Yvonne.

All the villas she manages are less than 4 miles to Disney and most have private pools and many also have gamesrooms.

I know for a fact that minnies mansion is available those dates as it was previously blocked off as I was going but have just changed my dates and am now going on 24th October so its definitely available. It is my villa which they manage but if you are interested and want to book direct through me I can offer you a discounted rate. It has 4 bedrooms (one decorated with a Minnie/Mickey theme) 2 bathrooms, private pool and gamesroom. Photos of the front of the house and the pool are on my profile (not the house with the snow on!

Paradise Palms Villa Aviana will take you to our villa. Have a look and see what you think!

There are so many different resorts, we have stayed in two, both easy and quick driving to the various parks.

You will love it wherever you stay, it is a magical holiday, websites like the Dibb have lots of information which may help you.

We have a villa in Emerald Island (google "Epcot Escape") which is almost next door to Formosa Gardens and is another luxury gated community but not quite as expensive. It's a great area as it's very close to the 192 and to the Disney parks.

Windsor Hills is a similar community but the houses are much closer together.

badpups, very of you are you are right next to my favourite italian restaurant.
Our house is about 1 1/2 miles from there but it would be lovely to be walking/staggering distance from it
