Hi
We're visiting Windsor LL tomorrow for the first time. My girls are 9 and 7 (I know - I've been cruel not taking them until now), but I wondered if you have any hints and tips on visiting...
Thank you!

Get there before it opens and as soon as you can get in head for the big rides that attract horrendous queues. eg the Viking water one, and the other one where you go down a chute in a boat. Anything involving rollercoasters.
Get a plan of the park and see which rides look the best to you and get to those first.
The driving school has awful queues later on as well but you can't hit them all first so you need to have a look at the plan and prioritise.
Would also advise taking your own picnic as food is expensive.

This has some good advice.

BendyBob · 18/04/2010 09:50

Go on an inset day.

AvengingGerbil · 18/04/2010 09:57

Second taking your own food. LL's is overpriced and nasty.

Head to the far end of the park as soon as you arrive and work your way backwards to avoid queues.

Take dry clothes!

Definitely go and watch the live show in the water - it's fab!

BendyBob · 18/04/2010 10:04

Ooh yes dry set of clothes a very good idea! Dd and I had a very long and uncomfortable journey home after Legoland

Thank you everyone for the advice. Thanks Katisha for the excellent link, too. Hopefully the weather will stay as lovely as it is today!
Thanks again.

Go to the actual Lego bit first. Its the best bit by far IMO - a complete world of Lego and build your own workshops etc. Its what makes Legoland different from all the other theme parks.

Don't go on all the rides first as with queues etc you won't get enough time there.

chicaguapa · 18/04/2010 21:39

quiltgirl - are your DC on an inset day tomorrow? DC are off Monday AND Tuesday and I was going to take DC on either of those days. But if other schools are still off tomorrow, I'll take them Tuesday.

take a small hand towel for fountains bit
do rides first imo then chil out in lego zone

Take a picnic...I paid a small fortune for some dull pizza and drinks today.
