We are going to St Tropez on the 24th April for a week with a 2.5, 10mths and 7mths old set of children and 4 adults.

Any suggestions on good beaches, restaurants for lunch/dinner would be much appreciated. Have executive transport (aka minibus) can travel.

Blimey I'm uncultured. I read the thread title and thought, well yes, I've no doubt it's difficult, but no obstacle to getting a fake tan surely?
I'll get my coat

Ha ha, you are as your name it seems . The fake tan is covered, its the food I'm after!

La Bouillabaise, beach and restaurant. Very nice! There are lots in the Place des Lices in St Tropez. Market not to be missed. Dd was 3.5 the first time we went, no problems anywhere with restaurants. Gigaro beach is gorgeous ( there is a lovely restaurant on the beach at the far end) and well worth a visit as are the villages of Ramutuelle and Gassin. There is a line of lovely restuarants along the ramparts in Gassin. The one with the big Ant was fab (right at the end) we went a few times. God, I wish I could remember names....

More with it this morning:

Le Micocoulier in Gassin. Gorgeous food, gorgeous view over the bay of St Tropez. Children's menu.

La Bouillabaisse right on the beach.

La Plage des jumeaux at the far end of Pampelonne beach next to Nikki Beach where the young and beautiful hang out.

Pinede Plage on Gigaro Beach. The trip over the headland from Ramatuelle is "interesting" if you are scared of heights like me.

The restaurants in La Place des Lices are much better value than the ones on the seafront where a drink will cost you about 6/8 euros. (It has be done at least once though for the experience. I do like looking at the yachts!) Old men play boules in the square and the kids can run about it whilst you are waiting for food.

Salivating just thinking about all the delicious grub.
