Any advice on error on booking?

I booked a holiday on 9/4 for DH and I and 2DC's. Booked it very late at night and it now seems I wasn't very thorough at checking it.

I have 'clicked' on Mstr rather than Miss for DD2.

So - Virgin holidays have left me a message this morning asking me to phone and amend the booking for a £35 charge and subject to flight availabilty. I have already paid £550 deposit.

Call 1: When I rang their non ukcall centre I gave them the details but the lady said tickets had been issued (we are not travelling till Feb. 2011)the holiday has to be cancelled and rebooked at todays price without the online discount (as doing it over the phone)

So I do nothing and say i'll call back

Call 2: Speak to someone else who says only DD2 needs to be cancelled with admin fee of £25 and rebook flight at more expensive cost (tickets have not been issued).

Look online: I can change details for admin fee of £35 including incorrect spelling of name - so assume Mstr. to Miss but system says our booking refernce doesn't exist.

Anyone any ideas what to do - admin fee seems reasonable, but why the extra cost?

They were having system problems last night - might still be ongoing today

You should only have to pay the £35 admin fee for changing the name
