Self Catering Recommendations for Italy, Sardinia, Sicily

Hello.

A newby to mumsnet here.

I'm looking for a self catering holiday in either Sardinia, Sicily or Italy.
Needs to be near a beach, and ideally in or on the outskirts of a town.
A pool would be nice.
(2 bedrooms a must !)

Would be within the last 2 weeks of August, but for 7 days only.

Kids are going to be 8 and 10..
One is quite a fussy eater - not big on the seafood, but loves pasta and pizza - how hard can it be ??

Any suggestions / feedback received with thanks.

Sardinia or Here right next to the most beautiful beach I have ever seen.

I also have these apts bookmarked for future reference. Baia Sardinia is lovely.

here is fantastic - got everything you've asked for - you could book an apartment chalet thing or a mobile home. Obvioulsy you wouldn't get a private pool but loads for your DSs to do!
