London with 2 or 3 kids under 5

Hi,

Tips and advice pls. Travelling to London for wedding from Newcastle. May have all 3 or just 2 of my kids - age from 4 to 1. Any tips where to stay or what to do? I know London quite well as lived there 8 yrs, but never with kids. Are we mad??

Well we have room booked in posh hotel somewhere for night of wedding, so I'm looking for accommodation for the Friday & Sat only (have just realised is flippin Bank hol w/end). Erm, not too bothered where in London, but not miles out as unlikely to have car.......

so many great things to do! look on timeout.co.uk for things to do with kids in london, but here are some things that dd who is nearly 4 likes to do ( or has done)

transport museum in covent garden
london eye (and walk along the southbank)
science museum or V&A
national portrait gallery
aquarium
Princess Di playground in Hyde Park or the fountain
London Zoo

have lots of fun, hope you find somewhere to stay!
