according to nhm when we went, pm better than am (post 4, but not sure when it is open til)

Go in the side entrance on Exhibition road. N0 queue. You do miss the sight of the diplodicus as you go through the main doors but well worth it.

There was a queue at the side entrance on Exhibition Road when we walked past on Saturday morning to go to the Science Museum. Just get there as early as possible is the best advice, esp at weekends and during school holidays.
