Cheap car hire from Malaga Airport ?

Anyone have a reccomendation for who to use for car hire from Malaga Airport? Have had a look online and maybe I am being cheap but it seems to be much more expensive than I expected! I was hoping someone knows of a cheaper, less well known company we could use.

oh...maybe too late but Helle Hollis used to be quite good...we ended up using them several times....

It seems a lot more expensive than it used to - after a quick peak at HolidayAutos.co.uk. There is a roomful of car firms at Malaga airport. Last time we waited til we got there and searched the room for the best deal. Tripadvisor.com forums might also be a good place to ask the question.

Car hire is terribly expensive in Spain at the moment and most companies have reduced their fleets.

Car jet used to be the cheapest. I have used them alot.

We have just arranged Car Hire from Holiday Autos, here who were the cheapest by quite a bit, my SIL lives there and says carjet are also good here
