Hi I am looking for somewhere to go for perhaps a week (could stretch to 2) in January for my 40th - key priority is somewhere with a kids club for 3 year olds. I've looked at loads of places but most only have kids club for 4 years old and over. am thinking long(er) haul as europe not that warm in jan. kids club important so that hubby and i can leave them in some capable hands for perhaps a couple of hours a day to have some time for ourselves.
anyone stayed anywhere that fits the bill?

thanks

Thailand, or it that too far? We went to Le Meridien at Khao Lak and it was fab and club from 3. Have you considered Egypt?

We love Coconut Bay in St Lucia, great kids club (they take babies as well), quite laid back, unpretentious. It's not high class but it's fun.

Otherwise I would agree with Thailand, there are lots of good places there. Or DR?

Hi thanks both for your suggestions. le meridian at khao lak and coconut bay st lucia had a look at them both today on virgin website.

We have been to st lucia before and really liked it so thats deffo an option.

I really love the look of the meridian in thailand but slightly put off by 12 hour flight to bangkok plus the transfer to phuket and then another transfer at hte other end. if was going for 2 weeks though would be great.

I would consider egypt but again cannot find anywhere decent with childcare for 3 year olds

recently appreciate your help thanks v much

Bandos Island in the Maldives has a free kids club from 8 months (and charged babysitting in the evenings). We loved it - reef just off the beach, good food, nice swimming pool. short transfer by boat after a direct (but long) flight to Male.

I agree with Nettee:

Bandos takes children from 6 months their child care is vastly improved this year
Almond Beach & Casuarina Barbados from 3 months
FDR Jamaica - you get your own nanny
Almond Morgan Bay St Lucia - 3 months
Playa Pesquero Holguin Cuba - 3 years
Jolly Beach Antigua I think is 3 years
Beaches resorts - I have never been but they offer care for all ages
Rex and Turtle resorts in the Caribbean I think offer kids club from 3 years
First Choice Holiday villages cover childcare for all ages - again I haven't been
Mark Warner again I haven't been but they do childcare for all ages

Thanks for the suggestions will look into it all.. love the sound of bandos but not sure whether its too far to go for a week
