Armacao de Pera Algarve any reccomendations please!

Am going at end of July - staying at the Club Nautilus complex just wanted any recommendations for resturants/places to go/local walks/ etc maybe entertainment??!

I am aware that the town is perhaps not the prettiest but we've chosen it for the beach access, closeness to airport, etc we are going with another couple (she will be 31) weeks pregnant) who have a two year old my daughter will be 6. We are in our Thirties /Forties not that makes much difference . Trying to avoid hiring a car but tips on Buses/excursions etc would be good.

Any help would be really appreciated.

The beaches are lovely. There are lots of nice fish restaurants not that I can name any. There were some recommended in the Rough Guide. We stayed in the same hotel and as the other Vila Gale hotel we stayed in it was well kept and the breakfasts were yummy.

We went to a water park pre kids and it was good fun.

Its strange we are staying in self catering apartments called Club Nautilus but they look over /are very near to the Villa Gale Nautico hotel i'm hoping they are affiliated in some way so my daughter can join in on the entertainment some evenings - she is nearly six and loves party dance songs!

Hi. We too have stayed at the Club Nautilus and they are opposite the Villa Gale Nautico hotel and we enjoyed the entertainment at this hotel. The sea is quite choppy at the beach. There isn't much going on at the apartments apart from the pool. From what I can remember, there was a very nice restaurant going out of Amarcao, past Club Nautilus, going up the hill on the right hand side. Not sure if it is still there though.
