Urgent does my dd need to use a booster seat in Spain

We're off to Spain tomorrow morning and I don't know whether we need to take our booster seat for my dd. Although she's 8 she very tall (148 cm) and while not heavy she's not skinny.

Can anyone help?

Ok not to have seat if she is over 140 cm tall. Not allowed in front til 12 though.
