Private Villa in Palma/ Magaluf

we have booked a flight and are now looking for villa's..apartments at a push.
it needs to sleep 8 adults and 4 children and have normal housy things in..a pool etc

or

does anyone know if there are any sites i could browse.

Holiday Rentals (have used it, though not for Majorca - good site, well-designed, easy to use )

Used holiday rentals this summer and had a great place. We've just booked a late minute one after a lot of work, but on mainland Spain, so don't think the site would be suitable. James Villas had some last minute deals on the go. Will go and check the other sites I used.

We've used solmarvillas.co.uk and Jamesvillas. Got good last minute deals on both, both to Mallorca, last year. HTH.

I would avoid Magaluf if going with the family, what about Alcudia/Pollensa instead?
