Hi

As title says really. I was thinking of a zoo / animal park but like the idea of a little train.

Any recommendations?

Many thanks in advance

Cotswold wildlife Park? Its at Burford, just outside of oxford. It has wild animals/play area/farm animals and .................drum roll........a little train too!

Don't know how far it is from Witney though!

We love it and I have a 3yr old DD and 15mo DS

Thanks, that's actually where I was thinking about! Burford is only about half an hour so very do-able.

Thanks again!

Grounds of Blenheim Palace in Woodstock (30-40mins from Witney probably) have a little train, maze, butterfly house and various other stuff.

milletts farm is worth a trip.

my 18mth old loves the soft play at rugrats and halfpints in banbury

the dcs have also been to the trout farm at bibury and all enjoyed watching the trout jump around and got to feed them.

if you go back into oxford - cuttleslowe park runs a train on the weekends similar to the one at cotswold.

if you want to go further afield Hatton Country World (J15, M40) is definately worth a day trip once they hit 2 and happy to toddle around.

Thanks all. Milletts farm is a staple at the moment and I am getting a bit bored of it.

Had thought of Blenheim - good to know someone rates it for children that young.

Will google the others as I haven't heard of them.

Thanks again ...
