Recommend a London hotel near Phantom of the Opera please!

Sorry, haven't checked which theatre Phantom is actually on at but am looking to book a gorgeous though not too pricey hotel for me and DH's 5th wedding anniversary jaunt. Preferably within walking distanc of theatre.

DP and I stayed at the Kingsway Hall Hotel, which I think is in that sort of area. Very nice, and we got it for about £95 I think.

Hotel looked gorgeous Surprise, but the cheapest room I could find was £175!! We want to go near Xmas so maybe thats why?

there is a hotel at Trafalgar Square but can't remember what it's called, you could walk from there.
