is DisneyLand Paris bonkers in June?

We've been to LegoLand a weekday in June [admittedly a Friday] and it was mad. terrible queues. We are thinking of going to DisneyLand Paris in June, if we can afford it, but is that a terrible time to go crowds wise? Would May be better?

Also ds 5. [dd nearly 2] Will he get much out of it or should we go next year?

And is the food prohibitive? I hear you can't take your own.

Any advice gratefully received!

Thanks - what time is the parade? We don't mind staying later, I'm not even sure what time it closes. Do you think May would be much quieter?

That's brilliant info thankyou so much. So May may well be busy then. Perhaps we'll take out chances in June. I didn't know about the fast pass thing, that you had to get them at the beginning of the day. I wonder if there is a big queue to get the fastpasses? You really need to come prepared it seems!

Am tempted to wait till next march or even October though if it is much quieter.

Avoid the Ascension Day and actual Whitsun (not necessarily our half term) holidays as the European schools often have long weekends. Second half of June - mid July is when schools start to break up for summer.

We went last week in June one year and then second week June following year. Method in our madness - it only cost 1 euro more to upgrade from 3 day pass to annual!

To answer your question it was fine both visits not too busy at all. Peter Pan was the only really long wait.

At 5 he will get loads out of it. Make sure to do the shows he will enjoy them, it's a chance for some shade & to sit down. They tend only to be 20-30 mins max.

Character breakfast at Mickeys restaurant just outside entrance to park better value than those in park and plenty of characters come round, ensuring some chat/photos at each table.
