Am I mad to be considering this?

In May I have the opportunity to visit a very dear friend whom I have not seen in years in New York. My then 20week old DS will naturally be coming with me. I will be travelling with him on my own. This in itself would not be a big issue BUT we (DH, DS and I) are already travelling to South Africa to visit my family for 2 weeks at the end of May.

If we do go to NY we would only be home for 3 days before setting off again to SA.

I am very keen to go to New York in May (apparently the weather is amazing then) but is it utter lunacy to consider doing so much travelling with such a little one?

Go for it!

I think if you want to go and don't get easily stressed then I'd do it. I have travelled a lot alone with my lo (now 15 months) and found that the younger he was the easy it was. SA doesn't have such a big time difference to here anyway and babies sleep when they need to.

Have a great time!
