2yo in LEGOLAND? Advice please

hi,

we'll be back in the uk for a few weeks and planning on visiting friends in different places. One of the friends I'll see, and who I love very much, suggested that we go to LEGOLAND, she has BOGOF vouchers.
I have a 3yo and a 2yo. I know there are rides for the 3yo, but can the 2yo go on those family rides with us, or I'm gonna have to stay out with him and watch being all jealous and frustrated?

My friend sounded really excited about LEGOLAND and I don't want to say no to her although my heart is not in it. But I haven't seen her in ages and want to do with her something she'd love.

I emailed LEGOLAND about it but they haven't come back to me yet (it's been a week).

There's a fair amount of information on the Legoland website:

no restrictions

some restrictions

Many rides do a scheme whereby one adult waits with the younger child while the other adult goes on with the child that is OK to ride. Then when they get off, the adults can swap over without queuing twice.

The shows are always very good, the puppet theatre, the outdoor adventure show and the indoor "4D" shows.

How many adults and how many children will be going, because it might be trickier if there are more small children than adults?

thank you,
in our family is two adults and two children, I don't care about going on the rides, I just don't want my 2yo to spend the day watching his sister going on rides while he's left out.

The no-restriction link takes me to a page which says "Children aged 3-12 can take to the road, soar through the skies and sail the seas in complete safety."

This is what's confusing me, is ds not gonna be allowed at all on any ride because he's only 2? I've never been to legoland before and don't knwo what to expect...

click on the no restrictions link again, under the photo are tabs, click on next or show all and it will list all the rides that anyone can go on, don't worry about the writing above it hth

ds1 went when he was about 2.6 and he was tiny for his age, most rides he could go on with a parent, and theres so much to look at anyway and parks etc..

Dd2 is only just 3 and we've been taking her for the last year. A lot of the rides are height restricted rather than age iirc, the magic height being 90cm. Dd2 is tiny and has only just reached this, but there have still been 7 or 8 rides she could go on.

Lots of other stuff to do/look at, and if it's warm ish there's the water play bit too.
