single parent taking toddler on holiday?

have you done it? how hard was it im not sure if its a gd idea or not would love to go away just not sure the hassel will be worth it my ds is 3 will just be the two of us travelling to spain for the week if we go

i've done is twice a year since ds was 3. the memories i have of just the two of us are magical. there was no hassle at all only fun and laughter.

I'm going away in the summer for 3 weeks (free accomodation so just need travel/spending money) with 3 DS's, 9,6 and 3 (well he'll be 3 by then).

I'll be using public transport and will probabl have one large backpack, the older DS's will have a smaller one each, and I'll take the pushchair too (as DS3 still doesn't walk that far).

Went away to Yamrouth 2yrs ago with them all, plus another friend who had a toddler as well.

Was great
