DISNEYLAND PARIS BY EUROSTAR+GENERAL QUESTIONS!

Sorry another Disneyland question! We are meant to be going to disneyland direct by eurostar next weekend. Can anyone tell me what it's like? I dimly remember being told that all the disney characters run up and down the train, but all i can see on the eurostar website is that the first class carriage gets a meal and a disney pack!

Also do you have to lug your bags to the hotel? The train gets in at 1,30, but they say you can't check into the hotel till 4pm. I thought you got your passses when you check in so what are you supposed to do for nearly 3 hours with 3 young children!

then coming back, do you have to leave your bags at the hotel and pick them up on the way back to the train at 7pm? Or can you arrange to have them dropped off or???

Any tips on how it all works in practice would be great. I have no idea how busy it's going to be but since it's easter weekend it must be packed, and then we get back to London to a national train strike!

thanks!

only been once but from my experience:
no disney characters on train - just normal train but you get a "pack" from the desk when you are waiting to board which contains colouring pencil, puzzle, colouring book i think.
our baggage went directly to our hotel and we went directly to park (disney rep comes around on train and tags your bags and gives you the passes for the park)
on the return you can arrange for your bags to be waiting at the station for you to collect.
hope that helps!! have a great time.

Hi Doris44, sorry no characters on the train for us either. Food on the train was rubbish and expensive so I would advise taking some snacks with you.

If you are staying in certain hotels you get a special service where you register on the train for your hotel and then your luggage is taken from the train to the hotel and you can immediately go into the parks. Then when you go to your hotel as you are already checked in they just give you the key and your bags are in the room.

On your return you leave your luggage at the hotel and it is taken to a collection point at the station where you collect it later. However there are huge queues to do this.

Hope this helps and have a great time.

if you don't have the disney luggage express there's a locker area at the station for luggage too (no queue!) - it costs a few euro but well worth it

Thank you for all your helpful advice. We are in the newport bay, so I guess then we can use the direct luggage, and get passes for the pass on the train then!

Well I'll wait till we get there till telling them it's Disneyland then!
thanks again
