I have decided on a policy of no central London shopping with DS. I have no reason to really, live 15 minutes overland train to Lakeside, friend is always up for driving to Bluewater etc etc. I will, in the next few weeks start visiting friends who live centrally, and will travel centrally to catch my train with DS to visit my mother. Does that make sense? Might also try to hold him where possible, so I can run easier if needs be, sorry if OTT, but trying to think things through out loud.

RTKM, surely you only need ring to say you have arrived and one to say you are home safe? perhaps one to say you are setting off home?

Went to the theatre in central London on Thursday. Streets perhaps a little quieter than usual but pubs full of normal-sounding chatting. Took the tube home.

Actually no I wouldn't - but take no notice of me, I know I am being ridiculous! (my dh has told me so, as have friends when discussing the 'would you / wouldn't you go to London scenario)
