Kiddie friendly hotels in Norfolk

we are planning to go to Norfolk for a weekend and I wondered if anyone had any suggestions for a nice-ish hotel with cot, baby monitoring and a restaurant to make life easier for us ? the west of Norfolk or King's Lynn is our preferred destination.
Any ideas gratefully received, thanks.

Blakeney has a nice old fashioned hotel which i remember a fairly child friendly. i think its called the Blakeney Hotel

The Victoria at Holkham is lovely. Not cheap and gets booked up and you need to take your own listning device, but they'll monitor it for you. Lovely bathrooms (big enough to take a cot if you fancy the room to yourself) and great grub!

Found the Blakeney really sterile and not as chld friendly as they claim to be - very 'seen and not heard' attitude and not at all helpful to poor dp as last orders for dinner approached and I was still trying to settle dd in a strange room. The only plus was the pool which we had to ourselves one rainy afternoon. Instead, I would really recommend Le Strange Arms, Hunstanton - it's a bit cheesy and 'Fawlty Towers' ish in its decor and ambience but very friendly and welcoming. Have baby listening but also were happy for dd to eat in restaurant with us early. Lovely grounds with swings. Mostly older clientele = lots of 'grannies' - dd loved the extra attention ! HTH

Try The Crown at Wells on Sea. It's small, and although we were there without children, there were children staying.

Donnie - not really answering your question but, having also read the other thread on so called child-friendly hotels & B&Bs, we've just joined the YHA and booked up for a weekend in Sheringham - total cost for 3 of us £50 (accommodation only of course) - I realise it won't be 'posh' but at least I will be able to relax and not worry about my very active 2 year old doing any damage!
